Toon Musschoot joined Biotalys in March 2021 to prepare the company for its IPO on Euronext Brussels. He is heading the investor relations and communications activities at the company. Prior to that he worked as head of corporate affairs at Syngenta Benelux following the acquisition of Devgen, where he was part of the management.
Toon has a sound legal background as he started his career in 1999 as a business lawyer at Allen & Overy for which he worked both in Brussels and London. He then fulfilled various roles in public administration, including as deputy head of cabinet for the Belgian Minister of Justice.
Toon Musschoot studied law at the University of Ghent and also obtained an MBA at Vlerick Business School. He followed various leadership courses in the course of his career, including Director Effectiveness at GUBERNA.
